Early dinner at Secret Recipe

I bought a voucher at Ensogo with a deal at Secret Recipe restaurant only for P330 on any Ala Carte Menu Item (Food, Beverages & Cakes) valued at P700. Located at Fort Bonifacio, just few blocks away from our office we went and grab a bite.

The food were great and as for the cheesecake we had, they were not too sweet, which I love!! The staff were very friendly too.

Short trip to Majestic Mayon Volcano, Albay Park and Wildlife and Camsur Watersports Complex

My hubby was born and raised in Naga, Bicol and he wanted me to see the beauty of his province. So we both plan to take a leave from our office so he can show me around Bicol.

Cagsawa Ruins Park place is one of the best tourist locations in Albay where you could get a nicer glimpse of the Mayon Volcano. But then I was a bit disappointed by not even seeing the image of the famous volcano due togloomy weather.

The bell tower of Cagsawa Church remained during this devastating experience.

In February 1814, Mayon Volcano has recorded its worst eruption ever in the history. It was said that about 1,200 town people thought that the Cagsawa Church could be a safer place but all of them ended up buried when lava flows cascaded down directly to the church..

Our next stop is the Albay Park and Wildlife this is Legazpi City’s only zoo..Entrance fee: P20/adults, P10/children..

We seldom visit the place because of long hour drive from Manila, and also because of its climate , during summer, Cagayan Valley is the hottest spot in the Philippines, but every time we do visit, I make sure to taste my favorite pansit..

We took Air Phil express (1 hour and 30 minutes travel by air), you can also take bus, but the travel time is 12-14 hours.

Diversion Panciteria, version of Pansit Cabagan is made of stir fried noodles,liver, hotdogs, sunny side up egg and crushed chicharon .

Upon entering the Calvary Hills you can see the statue of the Lord Jesus Christ resurrection.

Cagayan River.

The Calvary Hills of Iguig, Cagayan Valley consist of 11 hectares of rolling hills atop which are found enormous concrete statues portraying the 14 Stations of the Cross. Because of this, it is a favorite pilgrimage site during Holy Week.(WikiPilipinas).

The Calvary hills have a view of Cagayan River, which can be reached via a stairway at the back of the church.

The fourteen statues depicting the suffering and death of Jesus were made in 1982, conceived by parish priest Rogelio Cortez. They are larger than life-sized, brightly-colored, and spread out over an area of 4 hectares of hills behind the church.

Parish of St. James the Greater (San Antonio de Galicia),constructed from brick and stone, appears small and rather austere from the front. In the back, however, one finds traditional flying buttresses; it is the only church in the Philippines to have these.
