Paoay Church | St. Augustine Church - UNESCO World Heritage Site
After appreciating the beauty of the legendary Paoay Lake, we headed to the beautiful and historical Paoay Church also known as St. Augustine Church located in the town of Paoay in Ilocos Norte, Philippines. It is one of the oldest churches in the Philippines and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Its bell tower, which is detached from its main building, is made of coral stone. It stands a safe distance away to spare the sanctuary in case of collapse. |

At our back are the buttresses for support of church in case of an earthquake.. |
Before we proceed to our next stop we ate at Jollibee for lunch to have more energy. Then off we go to, Marcos Museum and Mausoleum
