RG Pagburnayan Jar Making

We are a bit disappointed because we were not able to see the inside of Burgos Museum..But luckily, I got the chance to see one of the more unique industries in Ilocos Sur. This jar making. It is called a burnay here and it made by hand with a real potter’s wheel. It turns out the knowledge of making the burnay comes from beyond the shores of the Philippines..To get here another tricycle from plaza (P10/pax). No Entrance fee.

The factories had to be established in “Pagbantayan” (the old name of the barangay now called Pagburnayan) because of its accessibility to the rich clay deposits in Ayusan..

And for our next stop, is the Hidden Garden if you are a flower and plant lover you shouldn't miss this place. It is located in one of the remote baranggays of Vigan, a gorgeous haven owned by an architect famous for his landscaping projects.
